Hey peeps! My Sunday team is looking for opponents for our weekly Sunday soccer friendlies for the rest of the year. If you have a team that would like to play us, please contact me or Mingji Lim. Thanks. All matches will be on Sundays, timing subject to pitch availability. Pitch bookings and Referee costs to be shared equally between teams. Pitches booked directly with SSC ($50-80 max) and refs booked directly with FAS (Ref @ $40) (1 Ref and no linesman), so costs will be kept low as there is no profiteering. On average we expect each team to spend between $45-$60 per game. Team profile is mostly (90%) aged 17-23yrs, with a few old dogs in their 30s just coming out of retirement. As this is a young team, our objective is to expose the boys to learn from experience by playing against teams of: 1) Veterans playing a controlled passing game. 2) Youngsters with unlimited stamina. 3) Casual Sunday kickabout just for fun kakis. From the above three you can roughly tell that we need tons of work on Passing & Teamwork, and Fitness... But we also emphasize having fun.
