To address questions that some runners have had about medals: We decided to give out tech T-shirts instead of finisher medals at the 2013 Queens 10K based on survey results from our 2012 runners, who reported preferring tech T-shirts over finisher medals. For 2014, we are re-envisioning the 5-Borough Series. To truly celebrate each borough and our runners, we will be giving out both tech T-shirts and finisher medals for ALL of the five events.
