Hey so if you werent at todays meeting: We decided to do in class presentations, targeting freshman non-honors LA classes, then maybe honors. We will be making these powerpoint presentations--which will take about 15-25 minutes. Afterwards, we will bring out 10 water bottles and offer one to students who dont use a reusable water bottle. I know its hard to trust people to not take them if they dont need them , but we have to do our best to emphasize that we are not selling these, we have a limited supply, and they are for people who dont have them already. Ive set the deadline for ordering the water bottles next Monday. I know its been drawn out for a long time--sorry about that. Liberty bottles has not been responding, so weve gone back to the old site. Maeve and I are currently working on designs, and we will vote on them on Monday, then one of our officers will send the order in after school. Hopefully we will be able to get this project going faster! The research is due next meeting. Liya, Linda and I are also speaking at this Wednesdays school board meeting at 5pm at John Stanford Center, 2445 - 3rd Ave S, Seattle. Come and support if you can!
