Hey, they came and fixed the phone! And the washing machine! And the windscreen! this week...add to those a flushing loo, a working boiler, seemingly working drains, a working fridge and a freezer that isnt from the Land That Time Forgot...we hardly know ourselves...no wonder we keep buying flowers and making bunting...its worth getting a bit festive for! But anyone who thinks that the comedy sitcom of This House is over, fear not! None of the kitchen cupboards close, all the drawers still threaten to shoot everything onto the floor or tip everything down the back of themselves unless youre careful, the lino is a write off stuck up with safety masking tape, the draining board drains straight into the tiles and makes them crack, theres a cupboard making new mould cultures and the bathroom carpet, now the new pipes have been concreted up, needs throwing away... But were getting there! Kinda like moving house but very, very, very slowly.........
