Hi All! A thread last night on another lost and found page brought up some interest in Cat Chance. Cat Chance is a local organization that is working really hard to help curb the feral cat overpopulation problem. They go out to farms and areas where colonies live, trap them, give them shelter and food for a few days while they receive a rabies vacc, any medication they need and get them spayed or neutered, then return them to the colony. Cat Chance is holding a meeting in Sarnia tonight for anyone interested in taking part in trapping nights. If youd like to go, please send the facebook page a message. Otherwise, they desperately need help with transporting these cats to the vet in Michigan for fixing, and of course donations. Just $25 can get a cat spayed/neutered, and prevent hundreds of thousands of feral kittens over a few years.
