Hi Everyone ... A couple things ... Balloons stayed on the ground today because we had 25mph winds 800 above the surface. Those that joined us on site were treated to a dozen balloons that inflated and engaged kids of all ages. Were thrilled we had an opportunity to share but always sad when we cant fly away for safety reasons. The balloon community is mourning a loss today in Virginia that we dont want to experience or duplicate here in Walla Walla. We always want to insure that our pilots, passengers and Balloon Stampede guests are safe in every respect. That means we wont always fly, but we will always bring the color out and at very least inflate for you when possible. That was the decision I and I alone made this morning. Sorry if we have disappointed anyone, that is never our intent. With regard to our Columbia REA Nite Glow Spectacular we are moving forward in the assumption that we will glow as scheduled ...
