Hi Everyone, A very busy Saturday at Omega Flight Training and lots going on. Slightly disappointing weather as it has clouded over and the base is around 2000ft given the great days that we have had recently. As I write Gary Bonsor is on his conversion from C152 to PA28 with Ben, and Owen G is having a short brush up prior to PPL flight test, probably next weekend. Legend, Jim Pearce, is here with us too as his grandson Charlie is about to have his first official lesson towards his PPL. Charlie already has more SEP hours in his log book than many of us, having been P2 to Jim Pearce since Charlie was a very small boy. Nicola is in about to launch into space in G-BNNY ready to take her aunt and cousin for a short flight around the local area. New owner Emile is here too, working with Martyn on the SMS and other important documentation. Sammy has just arrived so we are going to have a look together through the new admin systems as she knows what she is doing and as my immediate boss I have to conform to all the routines she gives me if I can remember them. Stuart Manners is hoping to do his first solo this afternoon but it looks as though the cross-wind is rather tricky so it is likely he will be on with a different exercise instead!!
