Hi, I was having a discussion with my husband last night about water on a sailboat. We do not own a boat yet but saw a sailboat that we liked and it said it had 2 water containers one for 85 gallons and 1 for 65 gallons. He said that most likely you would have to stop every couple of days in order to refill at a marina. I am assuming most boat owners are water conscious and use it sparingly in the shower, toilet, sink, and not sure where else you would use except to drink. How often is water used on your boats? How often do you have to refill? How long can containers last if water is used sparingly?
