Hi Niyati! Like your comments on Pole culture. Childhood is golden period in everybodys life.Pole culture is unique. something very special for those who born & brought up in Khadia. each pole is like big fat family!!! All festivals like Utrayan,Holi,Diwali were celebrated with joy & spirit.Any familys emergency or tragedy all are with the family. Rich or poor,upper or lower cast & culture we all played together outdoor & indoor games.It was a period of joint family system. Each family has 4 to 6 siblings & 8 to 10 family members.Can you imagine that only 1 bathroom & 1 toilet for them!!! Some houses in our Pole has 4 family{ 1 landlord + 3 tenants} in 3 story one house and only 1 toilet but still no complains and perfect harmony!!!!!! No modern facilities like 24 hrs. water,AC, T.V., Frizz but no regrets!!! Life was full of joy and satisfaction!!!!! Yes many times I saw my Goti ni sheri HOME in dreams!!! What a nostalgia!!!!!! I wlii never forget in life. All the best.
