Hi . Thanks all who came to the Skill share gathering on Saturday. Feedback we got was that it was enjoyable, informative and inspiring. Aside from the programmed workshops and sessions, we had a few other impromptu activities such as Ian making apple juice with people with his apple press, and Philippa taking people up to visit Spring to Life/Midland Heart allotment plot to show the pop-bottle greenhouse. It was also a great opportunity for the grassroots network of food projects to continue building. The projects/groups that took part in the event in one way or another: Spring to Life/Food Forest Brum Sandwell and Birmingham Permaculture group Uplands Allotment Cooperative association Food Not Bombs (who did the food) Stirchley Stores Birmingham Vegetarians and Vegans Little House company (compost toilets) Ideal for All Pacha Be the Change Trust Kushinga Community garden Please add any other group if Ive missed out any.
