As most of you would have known, Law Clubs election process began at the start of this week - and now, NUSSU (NUS Students Union) has also opened the NUSSU EXCO Representative Nomination Period for elections! Heres a message from Soh Yi Da, President of the 35th NUSSU EXCO and Union Returning Officer: NUSSU has opened the NUSSU Executive Committee (EXCO) Representatives Nomination Period for Elections. Details could be found at: nussu.org.sg/elections/ The nomination period will close on 19 August 2014 6pm sharp. Late submissions will not be entertained. IMPORTANT : In order to prevent any potential dispute over re-submission of forms and submitting multiple forms, the Union Election Committee will state upfront that: 1. We will allow nominees who had submitted their nomination forms earlier to withdraw. 2. Nominees are allowed to resubmit nomination forms to NUSSU Secretariat, provided they submit before the nomination deadline on 19 August 2014 6pm. 3. In the scenario where a nominee do not withdraw his/her earlier form(s), the Union Election Committee will only treat the first submitted form as valid. 4. That is to say, a nominee will still run through the constituent club stated in his/her first submitted nomination form. Withdrawal of Nomination Forms or From EXCO Election 1. Withdrawal of nomination or from Exco Election would only be deemed valid if the nominee writes an official email addressed to Soh Yi Da, Union Returning Officer and sent to [email protected].
