Hi all, I see our post got deleted.. while we had a valid question: about the Dutch Patrons. So Im reposting it, and try to ask it, in other words. Explain it more. So, in The Netherlands, crowd-based funding ea is not so big, weve heard of it, but its still in its infancy. The whole whats in it for me is big here. Its like, when you talk about Patreon and that people can support you on a monthly basis, all they will say is; but Im still going to be able to watch it for free? and wont take any action on becoming your Patron. I was reading other comments on this page. Someone said this: Build a network of people that trust you and are fans of the cool thing you want to make, as them to support your work. Make and post cool things. Easier said than done, but thats basically it. But this doesnt work in our case. Really really tried it. Asked people in person, used our social media and mailing, but all we got were 2 patrons and someone that didnt understand the registration, so we lost him. I read the blog of Jay Noggle and we alreay tried explaining why we believe Patreon will work for us and for our Patrons. To no avail. We know there are other Dutch Creators here, and were curious about how they deal with it. Or maybe if anyone has any other tips...
