Hi all. Inga has instructed me to make a post with my idea. I dont really feel like its an idea but here I go. I feel like many others that its really important that all dogs (and cats) have tags. Its not that hard. And you can get them really cheap. My current ones were $5 each online including engraving. We crazy mad animal lovers have our pets tagged. But some who love their pets dont and others who just sort of have pets (but not crazy mad people like us) dont bother putting tags on them. Imagine if ever one tagged their pets. Imagine how much easier it would be to reunite them with their owners. Somehow I think people just dont think of it, dont realise how cheap it is, where to get it done or dont get around to it. This group has had some amazing impacts. As a group how can we target the community. Not just our members but the whole community? How can we get out there and inform people of where they can get tags (giving them several different options) and educating them on the importance - maybe providing stories on a tagged pet and untagged pet and the difficulties faced in reuniting the untagged one. For example. People power. Any ideas. Im talking about something big. Not just a couple of our greatest leaders here doing something. I mean all of us. We have lots of members. If we all helped. We could have an impact.
