Hi all, sorry for the delay with scan results but as usual it takes me a few days to digest the implications of those appointments. Sorry to those I havent sent messages back yet, i will catch up with you over the next day or so. As always the results are never good or bad, the nature tends to be a bit of this and a bit of that. The good news is that size of the cancers are fairly stable, some alittle bit bigger, one has shrunk a little and a small new one has appeared. Thankfully it still hasnt spread to other organs. Unfortunately my body cannot handle any chemo at the moment, so I have to have a break, good and bad. It means that this chemo treatment has come to an end. I was hoping I would last a bit longer but not to be, the time frame was anything between 3 and 18 months, I managed 5 months. The options of other chemos available to me after my body recovers are not very appealing, back to the crappier side effects and more frequency. The other option is to stay off and monitor until the cancers growth and spread dictates what to do next. Anyway, as always, a bit to think about, especially what quality of life I want to have etc. At the moment recovery is the focus, and helping my body to become as strong as it can be for whatever choice is next. Whatever that is at the moment, I will have time to spend with all you lovely people without dealing with lots of side effects. Love you all Narelle xxx
