Hi everyone, I am looking for your support with something very important to me and many others too. My little sister is profoundly deaf and can only use sign language to communicate, as talking is very hard for her. Due to many people not knowing or understanding any sign language, she feels very isolated in society and for both her and the rest of my family this is very distressing. No one should feel isolated in their own society. Therefore, I have started a campaign called Let Sign Shine, to get sign language taught in schools just like many other languages already are such as French and German. Sign language deserves the same, if not more respect and importance as these other languages. As part of this campaign I have started a petition to achieve this goal of getting sign taught in schools. I would be ever so grateful if you could sign this petition and share it with others too.
