Hi everyone, I have an odd question, but here goes nothing... I have never owned a horse with a mane lying to the left. Just realised today that my youngster has a left-sided mane. Have read that it is traditional to plait on the right hand side, but does it really matter? Just curious! :) Have heard of people braiding the mane and on putting weights, skinny hoods etc to try and tame the mane, but Im aware that you cant alter the direction of hair growth and this would require regular attention, and I really dont mind that much. I could probably just pull it over and plait on the right-hand side on show day?
