Hi everyone! Ill keep this brief. Thank you all for your support! The comments, messages, likes, plays - it all means so much to me! Im in the DJ Olympics again. (this is the easiest way to explain it, lol). If you are in the Washington, DC area, I need your help at the 2015 Red Bull Thre3Style East Coast DC Regional DJ Competition. This is the starting level for the world-finals which I was in last year, representing the USA. I plan on making it back to world finals again this year (and winning this time), but I have to win 3 other DJ battles to get there! This is the first step to defending my title! WHEN: Thursday January 29th, 2015. 9PM. WHERE: U Street Music Hall (12th & U Street NW DC) -Entry is FREE. -You have to RSVP here: win.gs/3styledc -RSVP does NOT guarantee admission. Get there EARLY. -There have already been hundreds of RSVPs and I need you there! Part of the judging criteria is crowd reaction, so the louder and crazier you can be during my set, the better. I will be going up against some of the best DJs on the East Coast, so a little push from the crowd helps me a lot! Looking back, 2014 was an amazing year for me personally, and professionally. I was lucky enough to work with artists that I have looked up to for years, create some original music and remix work that has been released worldwide, and travel to some amazing places I have never been before. I landed my own radio show here in DC, won a DJ competition, lost a DJ competition, joined a really rad band, and played some amazingly memorable shows. Most importantly, I also became a dad! 2015 will be no less amazing! I plan on creating lots of new original tunes, remixes, and other music projects with friends new and old. I also plan on winning more DJ battles (fingers crossed!), creating more mixtapes and videos, and traveling the world sharing my music. All the while, holding down my mixshow here in DC on 107.3 FM!
