Hi everyone: You’ve probably heard that the library is working - TopicsExpress

Hi everyone: You’ve probably heard that the library is working on aspects of expanding at the site of Carnegie Park. This includes is refining costs projections and discussing how the interior space will be used. We’ve sent out a survey and had a public meeting to start gathering people’s thoughts about the interior of the library. We’ve also had a couple of focus groups that have been really productive and fun. Since the library is located in the McLoughlin Neighborhood, it’s important to me that we have ongoing dialogue about the library. I’d like to hear from library neighbors as much as possible and in that spirit I’d like to invite neighbors to stop by the library on Sunday, October 13 at 5:00 p.m. The library closes at 5, so we can have the library to ourselves to discuss ideas about the inside of the library. You are welcome to call me or email me at any time with your thoughts and ideas, and I hope you do that if you can’t make this meeting. I know people like to be home on Sunday nights and that Sunday Night Football starts at 5:30-it was hard to find a good time-but I’m really hoping some of you will be able to stop by. Please feel free to share this invite and please let me know if you have any questions.
