Hi folks - sis and I went to Gabriels for lunch - I know alot of you like this place, but it was HORRIBLE - I had a large blue and green salad - the lettuce and fruit were so bitter I gave up after I ate about 1/3 - I tried, honestly I did. My sister ordered chicken and dumplings - well if it had been called potato soup it might have been a more apt description - maybe a bite or two of small pieces of chicken and just a very few miniscule dumplings - hate to say it but we will not be back. She had tried to order a full size salad with grilled chicken, the server went to the prepared salads in the refrigerator and said we just have a small, no offer to make a fresh one - hence the alternate order. Sometimes the reputation is better than the food. Very disappointed.
