Hi friends! This month is Albinism Awareness Month. I hope youre able to challenge your perception/understanding of the condition, and I hope to create a space for you to engage with me about what youre uncertain of. Ill forever be vulnerable to that sort of engagement, if it brings us a step closer to a less discriminatory society, and where my hyper-visibility in public spaces wont be so hyper. Anyway, this doesnt begin and end this month for me, this is me. All day. Every day. Throughout the year. And its the hardest thing to articulate to people. But Im grateful. For opportunities Ive been able to utilize, for my health and the support I receive from loved ones. Many dont have that. Love.
