Hi guys! The weekend was very stormy but we managed to catch few nice fish. The wind was so strong that trolling or fishing in a drift was impossible. Only options were small bays and only close to the shore far away from the waves. Whole day of casting didnt bring us to many fish. Tomek got lucky and got a 94cm pike one the New 10cm Reaction Crayfish in my favourite Ghost pattern. Everything changed in the evening just before sunset. The magic time when the fish started to feed was very short but we were in the right spot. The lures had to be small and retrieved very slow with short brakes. Perfect lure for that kind of fishing was the New 17cm Slow Sink 3D Hard Eel in Burbout pattern. Just few minutes before we were finished my lure got hit. First I thought that I missed the fish because I couldnt fell any resistance but few seconds later I knew that there is something on the hook. It felt like a small fish... Till it saw the boat... A big splash and the reel started to play my favourite song :) After few minutes I had the fish in the boat. It turned out to be a fat 105cm long Irish beauty! Bad day turned out to be good on the end. I have to say that Ive almost lost hope that we will catch something nice and just before we were finished I got lucky. So remember.... NEVER STOP CASTING!
