Hi there! Im sorry I havent been here for a bit. Life has been coming quick here in all different ways for the last month. As I lost each person in my life, I seem to have replaced them with cats. Had 7 at one time, now down to 4. Ive been faced with the challenge of having to put them down when ill and knew what to do without a doubt. Our kitty Jules has been battling with many issues since last August, the main one diabetes. We had his weight under control, had gotten him up to almost 14 lbs just recently. This is the one of the 4 that is our shadow. He waits in the window, knows just when well be home, runs to greet us at the door, on top of us the minute we sit down, cuddles in close to our hearts & purrs us to sleep, even lays under my legs during morning meditations. The amt. of unconditional loved recd from him has been amazing and my husband is in love with him just as much as I am. A technician and a vet(not his normal vet) at the hospital where he is a patient, decided to change his diet a few weeks back not realizing how delicate his situation is and all of the other challenges hes faced in the last year. He went from being the vibrant, sweet, mischievous furball, to a very sick kitty, hanging by a thread. Hes been in the hospital since Wednesday, and they are taking it day by day, minute by minute. His regular doc says she still has hope, not to put him down, everyone loves this little guy. He was in an incubator last night when we went to visit. My husbands touch and voice finally relaxed him enough he fell fast asleep. Im taking one of my husbands worn shirts down to him today since he wont be able to visit. They close before he gets done work. Hes being hand fed, too weak to eat himself. As long as there is hope, we have it too. We are praying for a miracle. Please help. I know hes just a kitty, not a person, but he has been such a part of our lives and we love him. Hes been here for us, when others are not by death and by choice. We love him so very much. Thank you and I hope this isnt sounding too ridiculous for this group, but I know your prayers have worked for us in the past. My daughter and baby are thriving. Thanks for all you do!XOXO
