Hi there—Earlier this week, Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed started a petition demanding that St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch step down from overseeing the Michael Brown murder case and that the governor appoint a special prosecutor. Senator Nasheeds petition has already gathered over 65,000 signatures and was featured on CNN and in a number of other news outlets—but McCulloch still refuses to step down. Thats why Sen. Nasheed is now asking MoveOn members to take the next step in this campaign and call Governor Jay Nixon, demanding that he remove McCulloch from the case.
