High pressure slowly pulls away overnight, allowing a warm front - TopicsExpress

High pressure slowly pulls away overnight, allowing a warm front to push northeast over West Virginia on Tuesday. Lows tonight fall into the lower 40s and highs on Tuesday reach the middle to upper 70s. There will be a slight chance of a shower during the day as the front moves over the viewing area Tuesday. Shower and storm threat increases on Wednesday as a cold front begins to approach from the west. Some of the storms could be strong, with a gusty wind, heavy rain and hail. Highs approaching 80 degrees. Thursday, showers early as the front exits, otherwise a dry, breezy and cooler afternoon with highs in the lower/middle 70s. Friday, small shower chance especially north of Route 33. Daytime highs in the lower 70s. At this time, we expect a dry Memorial Day weekend with highs in the middle 70s to eventually 80 degrees by Monday, overnight lows in the 40s and 50s. Have a nice evening! JP
