Higher Ground Day Center is a day activity and resource center for persons INfected or AFfected by HIV/AIDS. While less than slightly cooler temperatures prevailed, several members of RIS and SHDR, located at Triad Corporate Center in Greensboro, NC, combined their imaginations, tools, and sweat to transform the meditation garden at Higher Ground. Weeds were cleared, bushes were trimmed, mulch was spread, flowers were planted. A new grill, patio set/umbrella, and garden bench were provided to complete the “garden oasis”, per Mark Cassity, Director of Higher Ground. and beautiful thing when the lines between matters corporate and compassionate are so perfectly blurred.
