His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama is a World Leader and a Nobel Prize recipient of Non Violence Peace and Compassion and spreads this message non stop 24/7 throughout the World. Unfortunately the Huffington Post asked a question regarding Hollywood in the wrong context. The Dalai Lama has always preferred radio and its true that he has no time to watch television and probably of little interest to such a World head and contributor! However it is a known fact that he appreciates Hollywood including its filmmakers, actors and writers. Many films were made through Hollywood depicting his Life, the Invasion of Tibet by China and Tibetan Buddhism such as Kundun, The Little Buddha, Seven Years in Tibet to name a few. He contributed to these projects as to ensure they were factually correct. And its no secret that many actors like Richard Gere give their time and support for Tibetan Causes such as Free and Save Tibet organizations. It stands to reason that His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama is no couch potato! therefore television is not on his To Do List list due to time constraints and 24/7 Global Humanitarian endeavors traveling non stop to every Continent in the World.
