Historians from District 12 traveled to Springfield on Thursday, May 8, to compete against students from all over Illinois. Holly K, Brittney H, Madison L, Maddy K, Brianne S, Kata B, Baylee D, Madison R, Elaina J, Hannah P, Erin F, and Lacey S represented our school. Lacey S’s project, “Our Lady of the Angels School Fire” was selected to be displayed at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library. This exhibit will be on display at the library for up to one year! Hannah P, Erin F and Elaina J’s project “Caught in Corruption: Convicted Governors of Illinois” won a Superior ribbon. Congratulations, Lacey, Hannah, Erin and Elaina, this is a huge honor! Thank you ladies for allowing your projects to represent District 12 in Springfield!!
