Historical & Cultural Fact: Upon arrival in Australia, the Europeans had found that the entire land mass of Australia resembled a very big nature park. Which is reflected in the European landscape paintings of the era. It was not realised/acknowledged till very recently that the landscape of the time, was all actually due to the Indigenous peoples superior land management skills and knowledge. This is why currently in Australia there is a big move by non-indigenous Australians, including the federal and local state and territory governments of Australia, to involve the Indigenous in the land management of Australia, to learn better land management skills from the Indigenous, in a bid to preserve the Australian continent.
