Holy Cow! What just happened?! I think my friend Tim summed it up for us nicely. Junk Market was a Catastrophic Success!! Never....Never {NEVER} in our wildest dreams could we have imagined the turnout that we got today. We were humbled, overwhelmed, grateful and apologetic all at the same time. We heard so many people exclaim how much fun they had we also know that many of you stood in long lines and some waited up to an hour to even be able to drive onto the Fairgrounds parking lot. We never dreamed that Junk Market would be such a success. We are already making lists of things to improve upon for the fall event. We want this to be an event where you can bring your friends, have fun, buy good junk, eat good food and go home happy, happy, happy. We already know we need a bigger building and we took care of that already. We have booked TWO buildings and TWO days for September 19th and 20th of this year. Our planning committee met tonight after the event and spent time discussing ways to remedy all the blessings we received today in lessons. Our team was amazing!! The vendors were amazing! But most of all YOU were amazing!! We know you stood in long lines and it was crowded in the building. And yes at least twice we had to stop the line going in because we were at fire code capacity. (safety first) We are already working on those items and remedying them for the next event. YOU are the reason we do this event and we cant tell you how much we love you for your patience and kind words today. You truly are the best fans in the world. So from Me, Tate and the entire Junk Market Team...we send you a great big hug and promise to continue to strive to make Junk Market an event that loves you back as much as we love you.
