Honestly... it was so nice to see so many people come together tonight... such a strong group of friends... going to bed in a few minutes and saying a prayer for our friend and his mother and sister and to Pat... Grateful that I was able to get to know such a good man, grateful for the funny stories he told me about the 70s, grateful for his kindness, grateful for the way he opened his home to all of us crazy kids, grateful that I was finally able to try that cheesecake, and most of all... grateful that I was able to give him a great big hug the very last time I saw him. Pat you will be deeply missed by all of us and you know we will all be there for your family no matter what day or hour of night it may be. Life is so precious... always give big hugs and always say I love you... whether it be with those exact words or in your own special way through actions or loyalty. You never know what tomorrow may bring. I can honestly say it I felt so happy tonight to see such a beautiful family come together and share nothing but love and positive thoughts during such a sensitive and sacred time. So thankful that I was able to be a part of it. And glad that I was finally able to meet the beautiful Jayla... I could play dolls with her for hours... what a special and bright little girl she is. She is a blessing and a half. I am keeping the Howell family close to my heart and praying that God will soon heal your hearts and bring peace to your thoughts during this time.
