Hope The last time saw light before now, Moon and Sun went into a battle Sending great envelop of darkness to earth Feasting was over... Humans went to sleep, Beasts took over; Vultures went feasting They took over our market places. Bears were burrowing To dig up our ancestral stone. The moon has appeared again In its full face with scorch To take siege of the day. The sun appears again, now at night To hold earth under its course. To help us find our lost teeth and bury them. Our hay field is full of fog... The wolves are praying, Praying to the moon to strike the sheep While the sheep are facing earth; fear of the sun and wolves. The day is breaking Along with mistakes of yesterday. The sun is taking the podium To dry out our yesterday And cast shadow over our mistakes. Sun will now rule the day And moon for the night. -EFC
