Hope everyone has had a good day! Just got back home and Earl had a lot of physical therapy today and did fairly well. His cough is somewhat better after the cough syrup. I took him out for a ride in the car this afternoon and drove over to Walmart to pick up some new pants for him. The care facility cant seem to keep up with the laundry and he was running out of clothes, especially pants. He stayed in the car while I shopped. We stopped at a nearby Arbys for a late afternoon meal - he wanted a roast beef sandwich, curly fries and a Dr. Pepper. He ate almost all of it and we got him back to the care facility for his last round of physical therapy for the day. He was pretty tired when I left, but did ask me to go to Burger King and get a him a small chocolate shake. He has lost another three pounds of his fluid, which is great! Hope he will continue to improve a little more before we try to bring him home in a couple of weeks or so. I still have lots to do before he can come home. Take care everyone!! terry
