How Family Guy should have killed Brian Rather than beginning - TopicsExpress

How Family Guy should have killed Brian Rather than beginning the episode with Stewie dismantling the time machine, it is used extensively through the episode. The episode starts with a story setup that brings us to Brian and Stewie setting up on the road just like before. A speeding car comes and runs over Brian, we are shown Brian being crushed and he dies on the spot. Stewie cries out in terror but quickly pulls himself together because he knows that all he needs to do is go back in time to save his friend. Stewies goes back in time and makes sure Brian doesn’t get run over and Brian is all thankful, rah rah rah. But then Brian, while at the park with Lois gets mauled by another dog and dies. Stewie can’t believe it, but knows everything will be OK and goes back in time to save Brian again. This is pretty much how the episode continues, Brian keeps dying in different ways and Stewie keeps saving him. (may Cut to alternate story then resume) After about 5 deaths Stewie begins to wonder why this keeps happening. It upsets him and he goes to tell Brian what’s been happening but just as he approaches Brian, Peter falls down the stairs crushing Brian under him (leaving Brians’s head clearly bent the wrong way, blood, etc). Stewie screams out in frustration and goes back in time again. This time he manages to tell Brian what’s been happening and how he’s been getting killed over and over. Brian becomes scared, he doesn’t want to die. Stewie helps keep Brian safe, they have a few close calls but eventually Brian gets killed yet again. Stewie gets a little emotional talking to himself and all that then realises that this isn’t going to stop. He accepts that Brian will die and goes back in time once more to say good bye. He takes Brian out to do something nice, Brian doesn’t know why yet, he’s dubious of Stewie’s efforts to be nice and keep pestering him to tell him what he’s done. Stewie eventually gives in and explains that Brian WILL die but he doesn’t know when or how, only that it will happen. Brian is shocked but takes it better than before because he’s having a good day. Stewie and Brian share a bit of a moment like when they were in the bank vault, not gay or anything weird, but horrendously cute and heart wrenching. Stewie expresses how much he doesn’t want Brian to die and Brian kind of gives in after a moment and tells Stewie that his life has been so good, that he’s getting old, etc and if it has to happen, let it happen. Stewie agrees to not go back in time again and to let Brian die. Try not to mush it up too much, geez. Scene cuts right in quickly to either real video or cartoon version of Seth giving the order to kill Brian once and for all, like standing, looking over the shoulder of a story board artist and saying “do it”. Scene cuts quickly back to Brian and Stewie and the most amazing kind of death that you could ever imagine happens to Brian taking him out for good leaving no doubt that he’s dead. The family show up just in time (honestly, I don’t know how or why they’re here, just roll with it). Everyone is shocked. Cut to Stewie close up; his expression of that of sadness yet acceptance. He says something very appropriate and touching Scene slowly zooms out and credits roll.
