How on earth does a company employ a business analyst who says to me Many rand experts are predicting further rand depreciation with some predicting that the rand will depreciate to R20/$ by the end of the year. I suggest that you prepare some forecasts at R13/$, R15/$ and R20/$ and check your ability to repay loans at this level. Then I reply with a link to forecasts by banks and Investec to prove their experts that they are listening to are talking kak : moneyweb.co.za/moneyweb-markets/rand-to-the-dollar--the-end-of-single-digits And then I send forecasts at $1 = R20.00 and show that without increasing sales volumes, without increasing prices and without reducing employees to reduce payroll expenses, I yield a R3 million net profit for Year 1. I love proving people wrong with facts and figures :D They just dont know who they dealing with! hahahaha!
