How safe are e-cigs? Theyve are the latest weapon in the fight to try and kick the smoking habit. E-Cigs. Many smokers say theyre the answer to their prayers - its helped them stop altogether or cut down drastically because, psychologically, theyre still holding something in their hand and breathing a product in. But some shopping centres and venues have now banned them - and questions are now being raised about their licensing and, indeed, their safety. In recent weeks, weve seen several incidents of e-cigs catching fire with some causing injuries to their users. So this morning I want to know - do you use them? Are they a lifeline for you? Or would you not go near them? How safe are e-cigs?
