Howard County Democratic Party elects Megan Schueler as Party Secretary. Megan Schueler was elected Secretary of the Howard County Democratic Party this morning in a special caucus at the Party’s headquarters. Patti Pinkham, the Party’s Secretary since March, resigned after she moved out of the County. Originally from Northern Indiana, Schueler graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law.. After practicing law in Missouri and West Virginia she moved back home to Indiana, specifically, to Kokomo, in 2011, to work as an attorney for a local law firm. In addition to her legal work, Schueler volunteers for local community organizations and serves on the board of the Howard County Literacy Coalition. “Megan is a great fit for our leadership team”, said Howard County Democratic Party Chairman David Tharp. “Her experience with campaigns in a purple state translates well here as we seek to expand the ranks of our Democratic office holders. In just a few short years she has established deep roots Howard County and is highly respected in the legal community. She shares our commitment to growing and diversifying our Party though enhancing our communications activities.” “I am honored and humbled by the vote this morning”, Schueler said. “I hope to bring new eyes, ideas and energy to the party and assist in making the Democratic Party a more integral part of the Howard County Community.”
