Howdy everyone. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you here. The road for Joanie and I started the night Diamond J Rodeo Camp ended. Newport rodeo,then morning after drove down to Vancouver, WA. tried to catch up on a days rest, had to go to Portland to get some new sound, then 4 perfs and 2 big slacks before we could take off this morning for home. 10 hours later we are in our home back at the Diamond J Ranch looking at an empty Rodeo Camp with a weepy eye. Being Thankful is an attitude of life that acknowledges the contribution from God, from others, and from life. I really dont know if I have the words to say thank you the right way. God has blessed us so much with this years rodeo camp. The instructors, team leaders, and all the other volunteers that helped were the reason this year was so great. Those people were here this year because God said these were the perfect ones for this camp. And you were. Our theme was the 12th man. Oh it may have had a little to do with football, but when you match it up with Mark 3:14-15, along with Joshua 4, This was the best camp ever! God had me pass a rock on the shoulder of every team leader and instructor but as I looked up with wet eyes, every camper and then some had taken the load on their shoulders as well. At the end of camp every leader and instructor walked the forest to find their perfect rock to place on the Diamond J stage so I could with Gods help build the memorial that will forever show this is where the leaders feet stood firm! God is good. All the time! I can not wait for next camp!
