Human nature is such that we tend to go on believing what we want to believe rather than face and deal with the harsh facts of reality that things today in America are not in anyway like when we were growing up. Psychologists call this condition Normalcy Bias. The majority of people will not react until things are so bad they cannot be ignored and the U.S. has become essentially a third world country buried in unpayable debt and printing worthless paper notes backed by nothing and totally broke. One has to have his head buried deep in the sand not to hear the train roaring down the track, but dont feel bad because this was true of every great Empire that has collapsed in the history of the world.
