Humble Appeal to the Church With due respect to all the religions and at the same time very proud to be a HINDU , I am thankful to the Church for appealing to the people of GOA to vote for the SECULAR candidates bcos I DO AGREE THAT SECULARISM IS THE BACKBONE OF a STRONG INDIA . But regret to understand that why church cannot declare very openly the candidates or the party which they propose to be SECULAR . Why there seems to be indirect criticism against some of the candidates or one party inspite we all know against whom the Church is canvassing . Why this double standard ? . There is no harm in telling or explaining the truth in a very polite and honest method . One has to be transparent EDUCATED INDIAN POPULATION do understand whom to VOTE . The true fact is that KNOWLEDGEABLE INDIAN POPULATION very well know that INDIA has the secular identity for the simple very important fact majority community and the majority religion is secular . I regret , with due respect to the church , that with the appeals that are being made today and some days back will result in polarization of VOTERS on the basis of caste and religion. In GOA the appeal of church may benefit the church’s ideology as there will be polarization of voters in GOA , but if the same appeal goes VIRAL across the Indian population all over India than the same will be more destructive rather than to be constructive and the resultant polarization of voters will be bad for all of us. I am a proud HINDU and at the same time very proud to say that I am regular praying person at Bambolim cross . Every time I pass through Bambolim Cross - I pray there . Some of my very best friends are from other religions . I don’t mix religion in my relationship . I am just a VOTER with no permanent loyalty to any one political Party and I will vote for STRONG INDIA and CORRUPTION FREE INDIA as per my conscious . I may not VOTE for the party or the candidate which I am giving my vote today . In next election if the same do not deliver STRONG INDIA and CORRUPTION FREE INDIA . I will definitely vote for others . I will definitely vote with the available choices that will be there in next elections . With due respect to the Church I honestly REGRET for the statement made by CHURCH . APPEAL TO ALL THE INDIA VOTERS TO VOTE AS PER THE CONSCIOUS AND VOTE FOR A STRONG INDIA . If you come to conclusion that Congress is good than vote for congress but if your your mind says that BJPs ideology is for good India than vote for BJP Candidate and so also true for the candidates of other parties. Request not to get influenced by the statements of respected institutions who have indirectly targeted some without giving a rightful explanation. ( The above is just my understanding and nothing against any particular religion or community . Regret and apologize if I have hurt the sentiments of any person or any Institution or any religion . )
