Humility in Excellence Proverbs 27:2 " Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips. " To everyone, God has distributed different gifts and talents. However some of us are exceptionally good. Naturally when people excel at something, they stretch out their neck hoping to see or hear someone complement them. And when no one seems to notice, the temptation always is to hop from one person to the other shopping for praise. In the process many of us make statements that point to our abilities. This is pride expressing itself in boasting. In our excellence we should be humble enough to let others notice our merits and share about it only if they are inspired to do so. Edson
