I HAVE 3 MALES and occasionally put 2 next to each other just to see their display of color... so now Harry Potter has started bubbles.. when next to Snape... SO upon googling, this is what i found out ~ Your male betta is getting ready for a female. He makes a bubble nest then courts the female. Wraps himself around her, she goes limps and her eggs fall out, while she recovers, the male gathers up the eggs and puts them in his bubble nest. There is not really anything you can do you keep him from making one.
