I LOVE AND MISS ALLAHABAD SO MUCH.......!! Kuch yaadein jo aapko bhi chu jayeingi..! Na jaane kyun aaj mann machal utha aur yaadein taaza ho gayi.. allahabad ki...! Yaad aa rahi hai aaj allahabad mein goonjti kuch anokhi awaazein......... do you remember the hawkers who sang out their wares? The strangest of compositions, many in verse. The strangest of tunes and cackles. Can anyone mimic them still? I still remember a jamun seller who used to shout hysterically - Kallo aye gayi hain... aaj bahut kaala hai aaj bahut kaalaa hai... kaali jamuniya hai...mewa moomfalli... rita icecream...(i can never forget the taste of the orange ice cream) ...And a banana selller who sang Kela albela hai!.. Civil lines ki sadke.. coffee house ki coffe and dosa... kamdhenu ke laddo... beater ki softy,....chunni lal ke chole bhature... baba ki chaat... palace mein movie dekhna... lal girja aur pathar girija... (landmarks...rikshey wale ko batane ke liye...) bairehna ki chaat.. dehati ke gulab jamun... fulki aur tikki ka anootha mel jole... shanti kulfi... .. churmure wala... sulki Oh yess how can i forget Hot stuff and El chico? hamare (hum sab ke)school days ke pyar ki shuruaat yahi se hui thi... dekha jaye aur compare kiya jaye, aaj ke samay se to bahut kam options the .. lekin hum khush the... bindaas the... ek shaam ko civil lines ki ride/ chakkar hi hame poori tareh se taro taaza kar deti thi.... kaash vo zindagi aur vo samay vapas aa jate aur hum phir se chote ho jate...
