I Loved Lucy! Some filmgoers complain that its over-the-top pseudoscience. And theyre right. But you know what?? If all we saw was realism in movies, wed be paying to watch characters drudge through their workdays, schlepping down grocery aisles, having petty arguments, and engaging in various body functions. We can see that anywhere, anytime. As for made-up science, no human has ever had more than a rudimentary idea of whats going on in the universe, so the theories presented in the film are as valid to me as anyone elses. Lucy is crazy, off-the-hook, heart-pounding entertainment, a movie that makes you feel like youve been in another dimension. Its the most fun Ive had in a theater in years. And Scarlett Johansson kicks the bejesus out of the role, a worthy successor to Sigourney Weavers Ripley.
