I SAY NO TO ANOTHER IKWERRE MAN AS GOVERNOR AFTER GOV.CRA IN - TopicsExpress

I SAY NO TO ANOTHER IKWERRE MAN AS GOVERNOR AFTER GOV.CRA IN RIVERS STATE. My dear Rivers people, Please, I speak as a very qualified and bonafide Rivers Son. Yes, I may be called a humdrum non-poetic writer, but I love my State and I believe in power rotation no matter what. I will always pledge my unflinching loyalty and committed support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). I have also supported persons not party in previous general elections. In the last elections in 2011, I fearlessly supported the PDP in all the elective offices and I vehemently refused to support the PDP in the State Assembly. I proudly supported my friend, big brother and leader in the ACN for the Asari-Toru Constituency two State Assembly election and Im glad I did not leave him half-way even though he did not win. History is about to repeat itself again in 2015. As a Rivers IJAW man, I cannot coerce Rivers people or the Political parties to give flags to the Riverine Candidates, but let us be fair. Yes, the Ogonis are incarcerated as the Riverines. My choice for the Governorship is in the Riverine. I will support any Riverine Candidate that meets my criteria irrespective of his/her political party affiliations. Today, I write as a Jonathanian (if you like), that should the PDPs flag for Governorship mistakenly gets into the hands of another Ikwerre man as the flag-bearer. We will not only frustrate him, but we will help the opposition to frustrate the PDP in Rivers State. We cannot be fooled to believe that only Ikwerres in Rivers State can lead for sixteen years. I will not accept this insult on myself and my people. I dont want to mention names, but bros you know yourself. Please, concentrate on the Senatorial seat and we will support you on that. However, it is your inalienable right to contest for the Governorship because you are qualified. But, be fair if you believe in equity and fairness. Haba!, abi na only una dey for we Rivers State? I am using this medium to call on my friends to join me as we lead the campaign against this injustice. Yes, it must not be a Riverine man in 2015 but, it should never be another Ikwerre man after Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as Governor. And yes, our support is still with the PDP and the re-election of our amiable and erudite President. Similarly, if the APC also fails to look in this direction and gives their flag to an impostor then theyve failed too. Ones akimbo silence and keenly watching the scenario may be misconstrued as a tacit agreement to this catastrophic injustice meted on us. We say NO to another Ikwerre man in the brick house come 2015. I have spoken, crucify me. I am, MAOBUYE NANGI OBU I write from the Government-rejected Krakrama Community in Asalga of Rivers State.
