The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) invites you to the world premiere of I WENT SHOPPING FOR ROBERT DENIRO, a film by internationally renowned actor and industry veteran Anupam Kher in honor of his SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK co-star. The 29-minute non-fiction short film follows Yamini Kshirsagar (who also wrote the script) and Rimal Arora through a day of shopping to find the perfect gift for the superstar. Having the world premiere at IIFA in Tampa Bay, Florida, showcases in essence the spirit of the short film, where a group of Indian artists pay tribute to the American legend, Kher said. Following the film’s debut, Kher will present an Acting Workshop aimed at helping acting enthusiasts craft a successful performance. Kher currently runs India’s premiere acting school, Actor Prepares, and he will use the expertise gained over 30 years of experience in 460+ films to discuss various aspects of Indian cinema and provide guidance to those seeking a professional career within the acting fraternity.
