Please nominate more people once you have completed the challenge. #IceBucketChallenge #StrikeOutALS According to alsa.org, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrigs Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Peter Frates has lived with ALS since 2012 and along with his family has helped start the Ice Bucket Challenge movement in the US. The challenge was started with the purpose to help raise awareness about ALS and to help raise donations for the ALS Association. But please dont feel obligated to donate just to ALS. Feel free to donate to a cause of your own choice as well. And remember to please be mindful of water usage.
