I adopted a 7 year old dog who also had his eyes removed to alleviate suffering and he is a DARLING! He has been with us for almost 3 years and has adapted beautifully! In my experience, an animal rescued from this kind of pain is clearly very grateful and loving! I honestly think I will end up adopting blind or special needs animals for the rest of my life - they need us so badly and are just the most thankful sweeties imaginable!
