I agree that the recent move by President Kenyatta on Graffiti on matatus is to help artists nature and promote their art talent, but again, will his govt regulate the kind of graffiti on matatus; for instance Images and illustrations of skimpily-dressed women, weed/bhang and other images that are not considered decent? Graffiti Art has transformed into ‘matatu madness’ with matatu drivers now terrorizing other road users and drivers, especially women and those driving vitz or probox models or cars with an “L” sticker. They have now mastered the art of ducking traffic police, oncoming rain and dangerous manholes while overcharging passengers at their will, we all know how expensive is to pimp these matatus. I support artists but with the matatu manace, I beg to differ with the move. We need uniform matatus just like for example Uganda, so that no Matatu will feel sweet and over-charge passangers at will to recover their graffiti costs.
