I agree that they should be drug tested....but the fact of the matter is that it would cost manpower and money to implement any type of system to do the drug screens....I think that revamping the system first would at least open up some funding to begin to plan for the drug screening....For instance....cut back on some of the items that are allowed to be purchased with food stamps....High sugary items, Sodas, candies, Chewing Gums....etc Etc.....and also cut the allotment by 15% for every HOUSEHOLD who has at least one ABLE bodied available and ABLE to work PERSON IN THAT HOME! Review each case every 6 months during reviews to reduce another 5% of their allotment until they eventually are down to bare minimum assistance.....and then when they start getting hungry THEY WILL GO TO WORK!!! Nothing should be free forever!!! This statement above does not apply to our senior citizens NOR does it apply to any person who is TRULY disabled! NOW ALL OF THIS MONEY THAT IS SAVED WHEN THEY REDUCE ALLOTMENTS SHOULD BE SAVED AND APPLIED TOWARDS A DRUG SCREENING SYSTEM!!!....OMFG....Just dont get me started!!!
