I agree with Steve O....I saw many challenges where people said they were donating to specific charities that werent ALS related...and never saw one that posted where to donate....it wasnt until recently that I learned it was actually directed at ALS....infact, there is another viral movement where people are lighting themselves on fire as a crazy way to react to the ice bucket (probably because they only saw the ice buckets being dumped on people and no one explaining in their videos WHY they were doing it...after a while it just seems like a bunch of people dumping ice water on themselves and calling out others to do it....no real explaination was given in the majority of the videos and for thsoe that did offer an explaination, many did not mention ALS....or where to donate)....
